PETAL, MS (WDAM) -

It's that time of year again when cities are featuring farm to table and specialty items at the Farmer's Market. Petal is set to debut various vendors at their Farmer’s Market on April 21.

According to the Petal Chamber of Commerce’s website, this year’s event will include a few changes. In addition to offering locally grown fruits and vegetables, the market will also have art, crafts, homemade soaps, food vendors and entertainment.

Every third Saturday of the month through the "growing season," the market will feature unique activities for families to enjoy. The market will be located on Central Avenue across the street from the Petal Middle School Gymnasium.

On April 21, children will be able to play with a fire truck provided by the Petal Fire Department. There will also be animals for viewing.

Anyone interested in participating as a vendor is encouraged to pick up an application at Grand Central Outfitters located at 126 E. Central Ave. Fundraising is also welcomed by churches and civic groups.
