35th Hubfest held despite threat of rain

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - Thousands of people came to downtown Hattiesburg Saturday to eat lots of food, buy arts and crafts and listen to live music during the 35th annual Hubfest.

The Area Development Partnership hosts the event each year to bring visitors to the downtown area.

The start time was moved from nine a.m. to 11 a.m. because of the threat of rain.

The festival featured rock-climbing and other activities for children, an arm-wrestling competition and music from Hattiesburg native and Nashville artist Adam Doleac.

Organizers expected about 30,000 people to attend.
