Hattiesburg auto burglary suspect arrested

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

Hattiesburg police arrested an auto burglary suspect Tuesday.

Officers received a report of an auto burglary around 11:30 a.m. in the 100 block of Broadway Drive where a witness saw a suspect exit a vehicle with a handgun and then leave down Broadway Drive, according to Hattiesburg police. 

Raheem Myers, 26, was later arrested at an apartment at 214 Broadway Drive and the handgun was recovered. 

Myers is charged with one count of auto burglary. Other charges are pending as the investigation is ongoing.
