PINE BELT (WDAM) -

It appears the threat for any significant severe weather has ended for the Pine Belt. The weather system that was responsible for the potentially severe weather has now moved into Alabama.

What we can expect for the rest of today will be some light to moderate rain at times, and that should end later this afternoon.

Skies should gradually clear late this afternoon into the overnight hours, and temperatures will be in the lower 50s.

Good Friday looks great with sunny skies and highs in the lower 70s and lows in the 40s. For Saturday and Easter Sunday, skies will be clear with highs in the 70s and lows in the 40s and 50s.
