HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - A Hatttiebsurg man's trial on charges of witness intimidation ended in a mistrial Tuesday. The charges stemmed from a 2015 arrest for felony witness intimidation in connection to another man's trial.

Derrian Moye was arrested on the witness intimidation charge on July 1, 2015, after police said he made verbal threats to a witness in the trial of Dreshawn Sullivan, who was found guilty of burglary, attempted kidnapping and child abuse in September 2017.

According to Hattiesburg Police Lt. Jon Traxler, Moye tried to get the victim and family to recant their story.
