WALTHALL COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -

A domestic dispute led to a drive-by shooting just outside Tylertown on Thursday morning, according to the Walthall County Sheriff’s Department.

According to the sheriff’s department, a woman from Franklinton, LA was pumping gas at the Market Max in Tylertown when her ex-boyfriend, identified as Shaun Warren, pulled up and started a confrontation with her.

Sheriff’s department officials said the woman left the gas station and drove east on Highway 48 before turning south on Kirkland Road.

Authorities said Warren followed the woman and shot at her vehicle with a pistol, shattering the door glass on the driver’s side.

The woman was not injured.

According to the sheriff’s department, Warren was later arrested in Franklinton by the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Department. He is awaiting extradition to Mississippi, where he will face charges of drive-by shooting and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
