Hattiesburg police arrest 3; guns, narcotics seized

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - Hattiesburg police arrested three people and seized narcotics and two weapons Thursday.

Detectives found two weapons, one of which was stolen, methamphetamine and digital weight scales while searching an apartment at Plantation Place Apartments, 100 Block Ellis Drive, around 12:30 p.m., according to HPD's Ryan Moore.

Tykevious Durr, 20, of Hattiesburg, was charged with possession of a stolen firearm.

Lacurtis Floyd, 21, of Hattiesburg, was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Tayla Eubanks, 27, of Hattiesburg, was arrested outside the residence and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

All three were transported to the Forrest County Jail and booked. Mississippi Department of Corrections officers assisted in the arrests.
