LAUREL, MS (WDAM) - Laurel police are working to identify the suspect who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint over the weekend.

Capt. Tommy Cox said the Clark's convenience store on Ellisville Boulevard was robbed just before midnight Sunday.

Surveillance video from the store shows a masked man walked into the store holding a gun while another customer was at the counter. The suspect points the gun at the clerk, waits until the cash is handed over then walks out of the store.

Cox said the suspect left the scene on a small blue and white motorcycle, possibly a dirt bike. Cox added investigators believe the suspect may live in the Pendorff area.
