Prentiss man arrested for armed robbery, aggravated assault

PRENTISS, MS (WDAM) - Police arrested a Prentiss man for robbing a gas station in January.

Keenan Williams is charged with armed robbery and aggravated assault for robbing a Valero gas station on Highway 84, according to Prentiss Police Chief Joseph Bullock.

Williams got away with $3,000 in cash and fired his weapon in the direction of the store clerk when he left, though no injuries were reported, according to police.

Williams was already on probation at the time of his arrest and is currently in the Jefferson Davis County Jail. His bond was set at $500,000.
