IHOP is giving away free short stacks pancakes from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday Feb. 27, in honor of National Pancake Day.

IHOP is also asking that people donate towards the local children's hospitals and health organization to help raise $5 million for children who are battling critical illnesses.

This pancake giveaway is part of an annual tradition that IHOP started back in 2006.

In the past 12 years, IHOP has raised $30 million for charities through their National Pancake Day giveaway.

The experience was, to say the least, unsettling. “It was kind of hard,” said Magee, who is known by his nickname, “Fi Fi,” which for some reason lost in time, is spelled “Fa Fa.”
