Teen wanted in Perry Co. burglaries arrested on MS coast

PERRY COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -

A teen wanted in connection to a string of burglaries in Perry County was arrested Sunday night on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

According to officials with the Perry County Sheriff’s Department, Clifton “CJ” Lee Walton was arrested in Pascagoula. He is being held at the Jackson County Adult Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.

Perry County Sheriff Mitch Nobles said Walton, 17, had multiple warrants for his arrest and is being charged as an adult though the Perry County Court system.

    Injuries midway through the 2017 football season thrust Northeast Jones High School’s Swiss-army-knife-of-a-player, Javier Magee, behind center as the Tigers’ starting quarterback. The experience was, to say the least, unsettling. “It was kind of hard,” said Magee, who is known by his nickname, “Fi Fi,” which for some reason lost in time, is spelled “Fa Fa.”
