HPD, Ryan's Chevrolet team up for 4th annual toy drive

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

The Victim's Service Unit of the Hattiesburg Police Department and Ryan's Chevrolet announced their fourth annual toy drive. 

The drive, which will take place at Ryan's Chevrolet located at 1501 West Pine Street in Hattiesburg, will benefit children of violent crimes and the Mississippi Children's Shelter.

The toy drive kicked off with a "Stuff the Truck Toy Drive" at 1 p.m. Tuesday, and people are encouraged to bring toys to drop off at Ryan's Chevrolet during business hours, which is 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays.

    Saturday morning, contestants in the 68th annual Mississippi Miss Hospitality Pageant gathered at the University of Southern Mississippi for one last social event before the final competition.

    The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has issued a Missing/Endangered Child Alert for four-year-old William Holley III of Clarksdale. He was last seen Saturday at approximately 11:45 a.m. near the Hampton Inn and McDonald's on Highway 49 South in Clarksdale, in Coahoma County.
