Southern Miss sorority raises $55K for Make-A-Wish

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - A University of Southern Mississippi sorority raised $55,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The announcement was made at Southern Miss' Epsilon Delta chapter of Chi Omega Sorority during its annual Songfest, which was held Friday evening from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Reed Green Coliseum on the Hattiesburg campus.

This event is the longest-running Greek Life philanthropic event at Southern Miss.

Admission was free, but donations were accepted at the door to help grant wishes of children with life threatening diseases.

A silent auction was also held.
