HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - The Mennonite Disaster Service (MDS) held a home dedication service for Hattiesburg resident Belle Lange.
Lange's home was destroyed earlier this year in January's tornadoes and has been living with family members since the tornadoes.
"I'm thankful to God that he allowed me to see this day and to share it with my family and friends," Lange said. "I'm just so grateful."
The MDS spent the past 40 days working on Lange's home. Organizers said that Lange can't move back into her home until all the electrical work and plumbing is completed.
Lange's home is one of 17 homes in the Pinebelt to be rebuilt by the MDS.
