HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - A Hattiesburg man is among six Vietnam War veterans across the state who are being featured in a new documentary about that war.
Charles Brown, who served in the Army in Vietnam in 1967, is being profiled in the documentary, "Mississippians in Vietnam: A Shared Experience."
It was produced by Mississippi Public Broadcasting and will air Thursday night at 8 o'clock.
Brown was wounded twice in combat and was awarded two Purple Hearts.
"We did what we were called on to do and serve and thank God, we made it back home too. You can't ask for no more than that," Brown said.
Brown was also featured in the HIstory Channel documentary "Vietnam in HD."
