South Mississippi State Fair begins in Laurel

LAUREL, MS -

The South Mississippi State Fair will kickoff in Laurel on Friday night.

The fair will open its gates at 5 p.m. and will be open on Monday through Fridays beginning at 5 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays beginning at noon. It will also open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday for lunch. 

The fair will be in town until Saturday, Oct. 21. General admission is $5 and kids under 48 inches get in free. 

Live entertainment at the fair includes performances from Craig Campbell on Oct. 17 at 8 p.m. and Foghat on Oct. 19 at 8 p.m. For a list of entertainment, visit www.somissfair.com.
