Damage reported in parts of the Pine Belt

WAYNE COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -

Storm damage has been reported in the Pine Belt as Hurricane Nate continues to move through our area. 

According to Wayne County Emergency Management officials, multiple tress are down on County Farm Road. 

EMA Director Angela Atchison said that one home reported blown out windows, and a blown away carport. 

There were also reports of extensive roof damage and a destroyed home in the county, according to Atchison. 

One accident was reported after a car ran over a tree on Highway 145. 

There was also a report of a tree limb down on a home in Hattiesburg. 

Full damage reports will be released as assessments are made after the storm.
