Everything is set for the 12th annual Historic Mobile Street Renaissance Festival in Hattiesburg this weekend.

Events began Friday night with a boxing exhibition at 6th Street and Mobile Street and live blues music at 5th Street and Mobile Street.

Saturday, rain or shine, activities continue with food competitions, vendors, a children's village and gospel music all day.

At nine a.m., city leaders will gather to unveil a new "Twin Forks Rising" marker at the intersection of Edwards Street and Tuscan Avenue.
