BEAUMONT, MS (WDAM) - The 30th annual Pecan Festival began Friday in Beaumont.
The festival, which is nestled in a shady pecan orchard six miles outside of Richton on Wingate Road, is full of food and fun.
The event will feature over 250 booths from all over the region, food, and Bluegrass and Gospel music.
Those who attend can also watch broom making demonstrations, a lye soap demonstration, learn how to make home made biscuits, and churn their own butter.
Admission into the festival is $10.00. Children under the age of four can enter for free.
