Quametra Wilborn

MOSELLE, MS (WDAM) -

Quametra Wilborn joined the WDAM team as Multimedia Journalist in September 2017. She is a Tennessee native born and raised in Memphis, TN. She received her Bachelors in Science from Middle Tennessee State University in Mass Communication with a concentration in Multimedia Journalism and a minor in Sociology. While in college, she was a reporter for the student-run news station MT10 where she received a Collegiate Associated Press Award for Investigative Journalism. 

She is also an active member of the National Association of Black Journalist. 

When she’s not working on a story, you can often find her working out or exploring the area for the best food in town. 
Quametra is excited to kick off her career with WDAM and even more excited to tell the stories of the Pine Belt.

    Saturday morning, contestants in the 68th annual Mississippi Miss Hospitality Pageant gathered at the University of Southern Mississippi for one last social event before the final competition.
