Mississippi State to honor hurricane victims with helmet sticker

STARKVILLE, MS (WMC) -

Mississippi State will wear special helmet decals in honor of the victims of Hurricane Harvey in Texas.

The football team will wear them Saturday against Charleston Southern.

Kickoff for that game is 3 p.m.

    The Mississippi National Guard's 155th Armored Brigade Combat Team is now in charge of Operation Spartan Shield at Camp Buehring, Kuwait. And they're making history as the first National Guard BCT to ever have this mission.

    A new Mississippi State Auditor was sworn into office Tuesday morning at the State Capitol. Shad White, 32, replaces Stacey Pickering, who resigned the elected office to head the state Veterans Affairs Board.
