CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Joey Votto purchased a donkey as a gift for Zack Cozart to celebrate his first ever trip to the Midsummer Classic - and it now has a name.

Prior to the season, Cozart shortstop had an agreement with Votto, who promised a large-eared animal as a reward for making the National League All-Star team.

The donkey, named Donald, was named after Donald Duck, Cooper's favorite cartoon character, the Cincinnati Reds posted on Twitter.
