JONES COUNTY (WDAM) – More than 19,000 Polaris ATVs are being recalled after reports of more than 40 fires.
The recall includes all 2015 and 2016 Polaris Sportsman 850 and 1000 model ATVs, the CPSC said.
The right side panel heat shield could melt -- and pose burn and fire hazards. The recalled ATVs were sold nationwide as early as May of 2014.
