HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

One Hattiesburg teen set the bar pretty high for those planning promposals this season.

Rhyan Plumlee, a senior at Oak Grove High School, was not expecting an over-the-top promposal from her boyfriend, Justin Mary.

"I told him if he was going to ask me to prom to just please not embarrass me," Plumlee said.

Plumlee and Mary have been together for a little more than a year. She said she was under the impression he was out helping one of his friends with a separate promposal when she received a text.

"His text asked me if I wanted to go somewhere, and I, of course, said sure," Plumlee said. "He came to my house and when I walked out of the door, his friends were standing there holding the sign and fries."

Plumlee said the entire set up was a surprise, but the french fries weren't. She and Mary are frequent visitors to Chick-fil-A, and she said the promposal was "perfect."

"I feel like Chick-fil-A is our spot. It's our place to go," Plumlee said.

The request was obviously answered with a yes, but the couple won't be celebrating their pre-prom dinner at the fast food restaurant. The couple has opted for a nicer dinner and breakfast with school friends, but she hasn't ruled out lunch or a quick snack.

"If we are being honest, sometime that day I will be eating Chick-fil-A," Plumlee said.

The promposal was well accepted by family and friends, and Plumlee has already ordered her dress.

"I just ordered my dress today, it was a bit last minute!"

Plumlee and Mary will attend their prom on April 9.
