The Southern Miss men's basketball team saw it's season come to an end Wednesday with an 86-75 loss to Rice in the opening round of the Conference USA tournament in Birmingham.
This was the first postseason game for USM in two years due to self-imposed postseason bans amidst an NCAA investigation of the program. The Golden Eagles entered the tournament as the No. 12 seed while Rice was No. 5.
The loss ended the USM careers of seniors Quinton Campbell, Michael Ramey and Raheem Watts.
