UPDATE: All southbound lanes open to traffic on I-59 after accident

FORREST COUNTY, MS (WDAM) - An accident caused major traffic delays on I-59 near Exit 67 B Tuesday afternoon.

A jack-knifed Coca-Cola truck and 18-wheeler collided on the Bouie River Bridge. It is possible another vehicle may have been involved.

There were no injuries.

Both lanes heading southbound are now open to traffic, according to Mississippi Highway Patrol.

Traffic was being diverted by Mississippi Highway Patrol at the Evelyn Gandy Exit while the scene was being cleared.

Traffic was affected for about two hours, according to MDOT.
