HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

There is a new gallery inside of Turtle Creek Mall this winter. Located outside of Belk, the Heart Gallery is partnering with Southern Christian services to help foster children find loving and permanent homes.

The gallery features more than 40 children. Some of them are siblings, and all of them are looking for a loving family.

Each photo in the Heart Gallery is contains a card, and the card has the information of the child on the back.

According to Southern Christian services, the gallery has been a success.

“In the three months of working with the Heart gallery, there have been 45 children on the gallery, and we have secured potential placements for at least 20 of them,” Senior Recruitment Specialist Tana Walker said.

For people who cannot make it to the mall, Walker advises those to visit the website.

“If you can’t make it to the mall, you can visit the Heart Gallery website, or visit the Facebook page to see the children,” Walker said.
