HPD locates vehicle in grand larceny case, suspect still sought

The car that was stolen in a grand larceny incident has been located, according to the Hattiesburg Police Department.

The vehicle was located in Slidell, Louisiana, and had been set on fire.

Police are still looking for the man involved in the incident. 

According to police, they are looking for an unidentified black man with long dreadlocks.

The incident happened on Dec. 1 at 5696 Hwy 49 Hardy Street (Jr. Food Mart).

    Currently, Lumberton High School senior safety C.K. Bowens acts as a de facto coach-on-the-field for Coach Zach Jones’ defense. And if Jones’ has his way, Bowens will become a coach on his staff some day in the future. “Somebody’s fired,” Jones said only half-kidding. “He has a job because I would hire him in a minute. He just has a way of getting his point across and people listen. He’s just a natural leader.”
