5th suspect charged with capital murder in Hub City homicide

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - Hattiesburg police have charged a fourth person with capital murder in the shooting death of a Hub City man.

Carlos Akeem Sibley, 24, was taken into custody around 2:30 today by Hattiesburg police officers and members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force on Katie Avenue without incident.

Sibley has been charged with capital murder, aggravated assault, armed robbery in connection to the shooting death of Frank Jenkins, 64.

Jenkins and one other man were shot in a home at 3010 Prince George Road Monday night, Nov. 21.

Previous arrests:

Aaron Jones, 21, Virgil Luckett, 24, and David Jones, 25, all of Hattiesburg have been charged with capital murder and aggravated assault in the crime.

The three are also facing additional armed robbery charges in connection to another incident from Nov. 21st, that occurred at 1700 West 7th Street.

Stacy Foster, 40, turned herself in to Hattiesburg Police Monday, Nov. 28th, according to Hattiesburg Police Capt. Branden McLemore.

Foster is facing one count of hindering prosecution, rendering criminal assistance in connection to the crime.
