Ellisville man steals from family, taken into custody

JONES COUNTY, MS (WDAM) - An Ellisville man is behind bars for stealing from his family and then admitting to it.

According to the Jones County Sheriff's Department, family members of Noah Walters, 35, called the sheriff's department about a burglary.

The family reported that Walter had stolen a gun from his nephew's room at his grandmother's house. Deputies then discovered that the firearm had been sold to a third party.

Walters was taken into custody and charged with burglary of an inner door. He made his initial appearance in court Wednesday afternoon.
