A man who lost his life in a late night shooting in the Hub City has been identified.
According to Deputy Coroner Jonathan Nobles, Frank Jenkins, 64, of Hattiesburg died at a local hospital Monday.
Nobles said Jenkins body will be sent to Jackson for an autopsy.
Around 10:15 p.m., Hattiesburg police responded to a call of possible shots fired in the 3000 block of Prince George Road.
When officers arrived, they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds.
They were both transported from the scene by ambulance and taken to Forrest General Hospital.
Witnesses at the scene said they saw three people running from the scene.
At this time, no one is in custody.
