Victim identified in Marion County 4-vehicle fatal accident

MARION COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -

The victim of a fatal four-vehicle accident that occurred in Marion County Friday has been identified.

Marion County Coroner Norma Williamson confirmed that Ricky Bourne, 59, died on the scene of the wreck near Pine Burr community.

The scene: 

According to an official on the scene, a call came in at 2:06 p.m. of an accident on Highway 13 South, one mile from the Marion/Lamar County line in the Pine Burr community.

Mississippi Highway Patrol worked the scene, but four different area volunteer fire departments also responded: Tri-Community, Pine Burr, South Marion and Foxworth.
