HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - Hub City holiday shoppers visited the Hattiesburg Train Depot Saturday to get some good deals on Yuletide gifts.
Dozens of retailers and craftsmen were on hand to greet bargain hunters during the annual Pine Belt Holiday Expo & Christmas Market.
Shoppers found clothing, pottery, candles and many other items.
There was also a Christmas Village for kids, with arts and crafts, games and other activities.
"Some of (the merchants) are people who have in-home businesses, jewelry and things like that, some of them are retail shops in Hattiesburg that have come out to kind of promote what they're doing in their shops," said Andrea Saffle, executive director of the Historic Hattiesburg Downtown Association. "So, we really want to promote 'shop local' and shop downtown."
This was the second year for the Train Depot to host the expo.
