HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

The Hattiesburg Zoo is giving families more options for eating while they visit the many animal exhibits at the facility.

Wednesday, the zoo opened the new Safari Grill by Keith's Superstores.

It's located on the site of the zoo's old concession stand.

It is four times larger and has many more menu items.

It also includes a new patio area.

    An Ellisville man has been charged with murder in the shooting death of his wife. Jones County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Whitney G. Kitchens, 42, on Tuesday after responding to a shots fired complain on Oak Bowery Road in Ellisville, according to a Jones County Sheriff's Department press release.  Deputies were advised that the suspect had shot his wife multiple times.
