2 jailed on drug charges in Lamar Co.

LAMAR COUNTY, MS (WDAM) - An ongoing investigation and tips from the community led to separate drug arrests in Lamar County.

Richard William Foster, 33, of Hattiesburg was arrested Tuesday and charged with possession of a controlled substance (meth) and sell of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $20,000, and he is still in the Lamar County Jail, according to Sheriff Danny Rigel.

David Eric Ladner, 40 of Lumberton, was arrested on Monday and charged with felony sale of a controlled substance (meth). He had a $50,000 cash bond set and is still in custody, according to Rigel.

"These arrests are a result of multiple ongoing investigations and tips from the community," Rigel said.
