Eaglepalooza 2016 moves to USM's Spirit Park

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

Thousands of Southern Miss football fans who visited "The Rock" for the USM-Charlotte game Saturday afternoon, made their way to nearby Spirit Park afterwards to check out the music at Eaglepalooza 2016.

The concert, sponsored by USM's Student Government Association, featured singer Keri Hilson.

The opening acts were Leonard Outzts and Nate Rose.

An estimated 10,000 people attended 

Eaglepalooza began in 2004.

Previous performers have included Echosmith, Iconapop and Phillip Phillips.

    University of Southern Mississippi sophomore guard Shonte Hailes posted her first double-double of the season Saturday afternoon with a game-high 20 points and a career-best 13 rebounds and junior swingman Megan Brown added 10 points and six rebounds in a 61-53 win over Middle Tennessee State University.
