Hattiesburg, MS, 10/3/16— The Junior Auxiliary of Hattiesburg's Diamond Celebration will take place on Saturday, November 12, at the Lake Terrace Convention Center in Hattiesburg.  The Gala, which celebrates 75 years of service in the Hattiesburg community, is one of the areas most cherished annual events. One hundred percent of the funds raised at the gala benefit the children and families in need in the community.

The event will feature live music by the band 2 Hipnotic, the Southeast's largest silent auction, a meet and greet with 2016 Master Chef contestant Katie Dixon, and a sports lounge with special guests from the Saintsations.

With over 250 items up for bid, enthusiasts of all kinds can find something to love in the Junior Auxiliary Silent Auction.  Always a happening scene, the auction features items from travel, art, and furniture to clothing, food, jewelry and beyond.

The sports lounge is a specialized section of the auction that will not only provide entertainment for the sports enthusiasts in attendance, but will also house all of the sports memorabilia up for bid including items signed by Dak Prescott and Laquon Treadwell. Special guests from the Saintsations will be on hand to cheer on bidders in the sports lounge.

With the addition of mobile bidding, which was added to the event last year, bidding can be done from anywhere.  If you are unable to attend the event, but would like to participate in the evenings festivities, mobile bidding tickets are available with a minimal donation to Junior Auxiliary.

Chef Katie Dixon, who rose to fame on the 2016 Season of Master Chef, will be on hand for part of the evening to take photographs and sign autographs for attendees.  Up for auction is a private in home dinner for six prepared by Dixon, and she will also be selling raffle tickets for seats in her upcoming cooking classes.  Three winners will receive a pair of tickets to attend the class of their choice with all proceeds benefitting the Junior Auxiliary of Hattiesburg.

Tickets for the Junior Auxiliary Charity Ball will be on sale on-line through November 9th, although tickets can be purchased at the door the night of the event.  Mobile bidding tickets must be purchased by November 10th.  All tickets are available at www.hattiesburgjuniorauxiliary.com.
