One cleared, one in custody in armed robbery, aggravated assault case

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

One person has been cleared by police, and another person is in custody involving an armed robbery and aggravated assault case in Hattiesburg. 

Kedrick Lee aka "Baby Slim," turned himself in to police and was cleared after questioning, according to Lt. Jon Traxler with the Hattiesburg Police Department.

Daryell Glenn Jr. aka “Goo Goo" was arrested and charged on Friday in connection to an incident that happened on Dec. 11, 2015 at a residence on Wedgewood Drive.

According to Lt. Jon Traxler with the Hattiesburg Police Department, Glenn was charged with accessory after the fact and armed robbery.

    Southern Miss looks to add a Conference USA tournament title to its regular season crown this week in Biloxi. The Golden Eagles (39-15, 23-6 C-USA) open tournament play against UAB on Wednesday at 4 p.m. inside MGM Park. "Certainly, this tournament it's no different than a regional atmosphere, that's what it's about,” said USM head coach Scott Berry.
