LAUREL, MS (WDAM) -

On Sunday, the Laurel Police Department arrested 45-year old Jennie Rowe and 44-year old D’artagnan Alford for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.

This occurred after authorities observed drug activity involving these two individuals at the Westland Shopping Center parking lot.

Once officers made contact with Rowe and Alford, Officers advised Rowe and Alford why they were stopped.

Rowe and Alford were overly nervous which raised the officer’s suspicion even more.

Officers then obtained consent to search their vehicle and during that search, officers recovered over three grams of methamphetamine.

Both, Rowe and Alford were charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and their bond was set on Wednesday in Laurel Municipal Court by Judge Kyle Robertson at $20,000 each.
