PETAL, MS (WDAM) -

Carter's Jewelry in Petal is refunding thousands of dollars to customers if the Golden Eagles score at least 42 points - win or lose - during the Homecoming game Saturday.

Anyone who bought a piece of jewelry from the store from Sept. 2 through Oct. 27 and pays in full will get a full refund of the purchase price.

"We're definitely rooting for Southern Miss and we're all talking about like what we're going to buy for the promotion and everything,” said Mandy Wigley, manager of Carter's Jewelry “The customers have had fun and we've had fun, it's probably been one the best promotions that we've ran and one of the most fun things that we've done because it doesn't matter, it can be a $50 Pandora charm or a $10,000 dollar engagement ring, it doesn't matter, they get all their money back.”

The deal is also good for jewelry and watch repairs. The offer expires Thursday at the close of business.
