3 charged in child exploitation case

PETAL, MS (WDAM) -

Three people are behind bars and charged in a child exploitation case Friday.

Petal residents Theodore Walley and his wife, Christina, are charged with child exploitation.

Another woman, Tarrin Davis, is charged with felony child neglect.
Authorities accused them of possessing and producing child pornography in a home on North Main Street.

The arrests come after a 10-month investigation involving the Attorney General's office, the District Attorney and the Petal Police Department.

“We were tipped off with allegations concerning this matter and during the course of this investigation, we discovered there were some child exploitation that was discovered on some materials,” Petal Police Department Investigator Sammy Ray. “Not only do we take all crimes serious here in Petal, we especially take crimes that are against our children, we take those very seriously.”

The three individuals will make their initial appearance in court Monday.
