In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort will show their support with a "Pink Pearls to Save the Girls" campaign, running the entire month of October. The campaign aims to raise awareness through events and associate promotions.  The proceeds will be donated to Breast Cancer Research.

The campaign began on October 1st with the Casino Resort's building and logo being illuminated pink. Front of house associates will dress in pink polos for the month, a pink 'Tata-tini' drink will go on sale at property bars and the table game felts will switch from blue, to pink, all as a sign of Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort's support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort made a $5,000 donation to support Breast Cancer Research. Associates of the Resort committed to showcasing their support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month; walking away with the Largest Team Award at the Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure. "Our community is very important to us and this campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness is something we can do to make a difference," Page Pearson, Employee Relations Manager, said.

There are several ways the community can get behind the "Pink Pearls to Save the Girls" campaign. On October 22, at 8PM, Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort will hold a Rock the Pink Fashion Show in Partnership with Dillard's. Local breast cancer patients and survivors will take to the stage to rock the runway in the Strand Event Center. Tickets are a $10 donation and can be purchased via ScarletPearlCasino.com, through the call center or via Scarlet Treasure's Gift Shop, with 100% of proceeds donated to Breast Cancer Research. Also in partnership with Dillard's, from every bra fitting in the month of October, Dillard's will donate $2 to Susan G. Komen.

Pink ribbons will be available to purchase from Scarlet's Treasures Gift Shop, with all proceeds from the ribbon sales going to Breast Cancer Research.

The resort is also holding an internal bra decorating contest, with associates voting for their favorite bra with their money.  At the end of the voting period, all proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society. The winning bra will be posted on Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort's social media sites. "The team at Scarlet Pearl is committed; actively participating and contributing to show our support for Breast Cancer Awareness" said LuAnn Pappas, CEO of Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort.

The resort welcomes the opportunity to give back to the community.
