LAMAR COUNTY, MS (WDAM) - Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton will have their final presidential debate Wednesday night in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Mississippi's First Lady Deborah Bryant, who supports Trump, said Tuesday he can win that debate by sticking to serious issues.
Bryant was in Oak Grove, speaking to a meeting of Forrest-Lamar Republican Women. She said she questions national polls showing Trump trailing Clinton and said Trump needs to focus on things which will make the country stronger.
"What Trump needs to do is quit focusing on the petty issues that Hillary's baiting him on," Bryant said. "He needs to stay focused on the issues and how he's going to make America great again."
Bryant also spoke about her HOME platform, which stands for Healthcare, Outdoors, Mansion/Military and Education.
And she talked about foster care issues in Mississippi.
