HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - After roughly 90 minutes a jury reached a verdict in a Hattiesburg capital murder trial.

The jury found Daylon Waldrop  guilty of killing Robert Williams in 2013.

The judge sentenced him to life without the possibility of parole.

This is the second trial for Waldrop. His first trial in 2015 ended in a mistrial after the jury could not reach a verdict.

Two other men, Derrick Bolton and David Fairley pleaded guilty to 2nd degree murder in connection with the shooting.
