HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - Students on a budget at The University of Southern Mississippi have a new resource to help them with food.

It will also provide applications for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and information on getting medical insurance.

The facility is being run by the School of Social Work Student Association.

Items are being supplied by various donors.

It will be open on Mondays from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Wednesdays from 1-5 p.m. and Fridays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
