Wayne County traffic stop ends in drug arrest

WAYNESBORO, MS (WDAM) -

A traffic stop on Highway 84 in Wayne County ended in a drug arrest Tuesday night. 

Around 9 p.m. Wayne County deputies stopped a suspect around 9 p.m. 

David Lamar Busby was found to be in possession of 8.7 grams of meth, a pistol, a rifle, and an undisclosed amount of cash, according to lead investigator Mike Mozingo. 

Busby was charged with possession of meth with intent to distribute.
