HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

A Hattiesburg restaurant has been cited by the health department.

Dan's Cafe on Highway 49 in Hattiesburg was served a "C" rating from the state health department.

An inspection from September 15th finds the restaurant didn't have accessible adequate hand washing facilities, which could pose potential contamination.

The inspection also points out proper cold holding temperatures weren't where they should be.

Two issues were corrected onsite which include separating, protecting and marking food with appropriate dates.

So far, a follow up inspection hasn't happened.
