MUGSHOTS: Jones County drug bust nets 19, more arrests pending

JONES COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -

Jones County Sheriff’s Narcotics Investigators and deputies executed several felony drug arrest warrants throughout Jones County Friday morning.

The largest concentration of the warrants were in the Sandersville and Eastview areas, according to the sheriff.

The following were arrested on the drug warrants:

  • Arthur Cooksey – Sale of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent – times 2
  • Angela Denise Cooksey – Possession of Controlled Substance
  • Rustin Cooksey – Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Josh Sullivan – Possession of a Controlled Substance – times 2
  • Mario McDonald – Sale of a Controlled Substance, Child Endangerment
  • Taya Dean – Sale of a Controlled Substance, Child Endangerment
  • Moses McDonald – Sale of a Controlled Substance, Child Endangerment, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent, Weapon Possession by a Felon – times 2, bond set at $40,000
  • Jessica McDonald – Sale of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent, bond set at $10,000 
  • Demario McDonald – Possession of Marijuana, bond set at $25,000
  • Timika Norman – Possession of Marijuana, Conspiracy to Deliver a Controlled Substance
  • Shannon Keller – Wanted by MDOC, Weapon Possession by Felon – times 2, bond set at $10,000 
  • Angela Herron – Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent While in Possession of a Firearm, Weapon Possession by Felon, bond was revoked 
  • Jeffery Miller – Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent while in Possession of a Firearm, bond was revoked 
  • Dalton Hunter Lightsey – Conspiracy to deliver a Controlled Substance
  • Leigh Ann Green – Sale of a Controlled Substance
  • Roman Dean – Sale of a Controlled Substance
  • George Tucker – Trafficking a Controlled Substance

All the suspects arrested so far are making their initial appearances in court Friday afternoon. 

According to a news release issued by the Jones County sheriff, more arrests are pending.
