2 held-up in Hub City armed robbery, suspects sought

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

Hattiesburg police are investigating a Tuesday morning armed robbery.

According to Hattiesburg Police Lt. Jon Traxler, the incident occurred at 3700 West 4th Street at Sonic Drive-In just before 4 a.m.

“When officers arrived they met with two victims who said they were behind the business smoking when they were approached by two men with guns who demanded their money,” said Hattiesburg Police Lt. Jon Traxler.

Traxler added that both victims complied with the suspects, and then the suspects fled the scene on foot.
