HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

Hattiesburg Police are still investigating last week’s double shooting at Bonhomie Apartments.

Around 3 p.m. on August 23rd, officers responded to a report of shots fired at 1810 Country Club Road, Bonhomie Apartments.

“When officers arrived they were advised that two victims were shot and transported to local hospitals with injuries,” said Hattiesburg Police Lt. Jon Traxler. “The two men had gotten into an argument and they both began to shoot at each other.”

According to Traxler, both the men were struck by rounds.

“Both subjects have been questioned and the investigation is ongoing,” said Traxler. “The arrest and charges of both of those subjects is still pending at this time.”

If you have any information contact Hattiesburg Police or Metro Crime Stoppers at 601-582-STOP.
